John Roberts - Director
John is a Hydrologist with a passion for Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering with over 17 years’ experience. John has been a panel member in reviewing GRO guidance and is a fixture at Urban Design London, where he provides design and construction advice.
John has a wide Civil Engineering background coming from a management role in the preparation of S38, S278, S104 and S106 applications. Recently, John has championed SuDS design and Natural Flood Mitigation.
John prepares Flood Risk Assessments, design advice, drainage surveys and hydraulic modelling. Projects range from Blue and Green Roofs to Industrial Drainage.
At Pluviam Environmental, John provides support to our clients and offers cost effective and innovative designs.
On a personal note, John enjoys input on environmental matters, especially Surfers Against Sewage.
Rod Green - Director
Public Health Engineer with over 40 years’ experience in the construction sector; specialising in internal and external drainage pipework systems design for a wide variety and scale of projects; including retail, healthcare, sports/leisure venues, residential and commercial buildings in the UK and internationally. Engaged in water conservation and sustainability through designing blue/green roof systems, SuDS water management systems, water recovery and re-use and Flood Risk assessments.
Rod carries out site survey’s and inspections of new and existing drainage systems and prepares evaluation reports.
Rod has worked with CIRIA being a member of the PSG group for both the SuDS Manual and Blue Roof Guide. Presently regional co-ordinator for SoPHE Midlands.
On a personal level, Rod is very interested in improving environmental and social justice related to local, national and global water issues and challenges impacting on our planet today.
